Liverpool is only an hour or so from Northern Wales, so we took a drive after AG finished work to visit Llangollen, a very pretty town set in a the valley of the River Dee. Llangollen is currently hosting the international Eisteddfod for 2011. They also boast steam train system and a working aquaduct that has a canal along the top of it.

Hi Dot Dot. Got your SMS. In case mine doesn't reach you, it is freezing in Brizzie. SupeRugby final tonight - the Reds host the Crusaders. Should be a beauty. There is a real buzz around town. Queensland beat NSW in State of Origin to make it 6 series in a row (like you care). Have a wonderful time in Ireland. V.
